Wild Batch

Everything you ferment, bake, brew and preserve at home, kept on one timeline.

For iPhone. Everything is open for your first week.

The Today screen: the step due next on a ticket, the steps later today as tiles, and the next seven days.

What it does

6

A running batch, Saturday loaves: the step due now on a ticket and the list of steps, two of seven done.

A batch for everything you make

Each bake, brew or jar is a batch with its own timeline. Wild Batch lays out the steps, tells you when each one is due and reminds you at the right time. Add readings, notes and photos as you go.

A recipe, Half whole wheat loaf: the number of loaves, the ingredients in grams, start now or ready by, and the timed steps.

More than 500 recipes, timed step by step

Pick a recipe and choose how much you want to make, and the ingredients scale for you. Set the time you want it ready and Wild Batch works backwards to tell you when to start.

The Cultures screen: a kitchen SCOBY and a rye starter, each with when it is next due.

Your starter, SCOBY and grains

Keep a feeding schedule for every living culture. Wild Batch reminds you when a feeding is due and keeps the history of each one.

The bread dough calculator: total dough, water, levain and salt percentages turned into grams to weigh out.

Calculators that do the arithmetic

Baker's percentages, starter feeds, pizza dough by the ball, brine and salt by weight, alcohol by volume, hydrometer corrections, priming sugar, hop bitterness and more.

The photo scan for Saturday loaves, with three tips for taking one clear photo.

A photo, read against the recipe

Take a photo of your dough, your starter or your ferment, and Wild Batch describes what it shows and how that compares with the step you are on. It is a second pair of eyes, not a safety test.

On your Home Screen and Lock Screen

See what is due next from a widget, and follow a running step from the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island.
